Once that need is filled, donations may be distributed to others in need. A new baby represents a new chapter for this Medford couple who live in crisis housing with their other three boys. Although the birth of their unborn son fills them with promise, the couple lacks all the items needed to care for a newborn. Those include, but are not limited to, clothes, diapers, a bassinet or crib and a breast pump. The family also hopes for a bicycle trailer to replace one they lost. The dad, 26, wants to take his other children on rides behind his mountain bike again. The kids would love a few toys, while the parents need clothing. The children formerly lived in foster care while their parents struggled with methamphetamine addiction. A client of OnTrack, the 23-year-old mother has been drug-free since January and continues to work hard toward recovery, said her caseworkers. OnTrack aims to keep families together and support parents by providing child care in addition to its host of classes and counseling services. After so many struggles, the mother couldn’t wish for anything more than spending the holidays with her children. Movie passes would give them all a fun outing. The oldest boy, 6, would adore Legos, action figures, racecars and board games. He wears size 8 clothing and size 2 shoes. The 3-year-old twin boys enjoy magnetic building blocks, monster trucks, remote-control cars and action heroes. The mother wears size 5 pants, medium shirts and size 8 shoes.
