The agency posted a portion of the security footage on their Facebook page Wednesday. The theft of tires and 22-inch rims, with an estimated value of $2,700, took place shortly before 2 a.m. May 23 at the Los Arcos Restaurant, located in the 1500 block of Sage Road. The targeted vehicle, a GMC Denali, was parked in a lot behind the restaurant, Medford police said. In the 12 seconds of video police shared, a male is seen walking across a parking lot holding two tires beneath his arms. The video then cuts and shows another SUV, described by police as a blue or turquoise mid-1990s Ford Explorer with a ladder on top, driving across the lot in the other direction. Details about the suspect are difficult to pin down from the video, other than that the suspect is male. "With the nighttime there’s not a lot of light out there," said Lt. Kevin Walruff of Medford police. "Clearly not a juvenile.” Anyone with information about the suspect or the case is asked to call Medford police at 541-770-4784.
