St. Mary's falls St. Mary's proved more than hospitable to Henley's junior varsity Thursday night. Playing on their home field at St. Mary's High for the first time, the Crusaders fell 40-6 in the non-conference game. "We finally got a chance to play at home, but the result wasn't exactly what we wanted," St. Mary's coach Dick Maurer said. Henley broke the game open with 14 points in the first quarter and then added another touchdown to take a 20-6 lead into halftime. It added 14 points in the third and six in the final stanza. Tyler Stout set up the lone touchdown for St. Mary's, intercepting a pass in the second quarter and returning it 27 yards. Stout scored a few plays later on an 8-yard touchdown pass by Tracy Terrall. Alex Duncan supplied one of the few other highlights for St. Mary's with nine rushes for 57 yards. The Crusaders dropped to 1-2.
