Hornets romp past Phoenix girls PHOENIX Skyline Conference girls basketball leader Henley outscored Phoenix 25-10 during the final 12 minutes Wednesday night to turn a close game into a 57-38 rout. "Offensively, we couldnt execute and we couldnt get a defensive rebound," Phoenix coach Kyle Walker said. "They were getting two, three or four looks at the basket. They just rebounded until they scored." Heather Radke scored 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds, seven on the offensive end, for the Hornets (10-7, 8-1 Skyline). Samantha Young yanked down 14 rebounds and added seven points. Sutton Jackson scored 10 points, while Tiffany Ross snared nine rebounds and added eight points for the Pirates (8-8, 5-4 Skyline), who were tied for second place just two games ago. With key encounters against Mazama and Lakeview still to play at home, Phoenix remains in playoff contention. "Were on a two-game skid," Walker said. "Weve got to get going in the other direction."
