RCC holds event for Latino students Nov 15, 2016 12:00 AM A A Rogue Community College will host a college-preparedness conference for area Latino high school juniors and seniors from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at the college's Table Rock Campus, 7800 Pacific Ave., White City. Educación, Un Mundo de Oportunidades (Education, A World of Opportunities) is free and open to the public but limited to 200 students from Jackson and Josephine counties. Interested attendees can register at https://web.roguecc.edu/club-latino/emo . The event will feature workshops and speakers who address college-related topics such as admissions, academic resume preparation and financial aid applications. There also will be music and prize giveaways. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
