Jackson County sheriff’s deputies early Monday arrested Anderson on charges of first- degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree assault. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail, then released on bail Monday morning. Drugs — Kenneth Ray Sullivan, 28, of the 500 block of South Peach Street, Medford. Medford police on Sunday arrested Sullivan on a charge of possession of amphetamines. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail then released on his own recognizance. Assault — Curtis Lee Vancil, 30, of the 500 block of Glen Way, Central Point. Central Point police Monday arrested Vancil on charges of felony fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail in lieu of $8,000 bail. Miscellaneous Jail releases — A total of 113 inmates were released last week from the Jackson County Jail to meet its court-ordered cap of no more than 190 inmates. Of those, 17 were released before their scheduled court appearances, five were granted early release from their sentences and 91 were released for miscellaneous reasons.
