Marsh to host ‘Path to Recovery’ forum focused on manufactured housing By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Oct 15, 2021 02:50 PM A A A panel of eight officials will give updates on state programs geared toward Jackson County residents who lost manufactured homes in the Labor Day fires — including the Almeda fire — along with updates on new and rebuilding mobile home parks under construction. Oregon Rep. Pam Marsh will host an online forum titled “Our Path to Recovery: Manufactured Homes Forum” from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, which will feature representatives from Governor Kate Brown’s office, the Housing Authority of Jackson County, Oregon Housing and Community Services and the housing director at the nonprofit ACCESS. The virtual forum will include information for prospective manufactured homeowners about what their options are for siting and financing a new manufactured home, according to a release issued Friday by Marsh’s office. "Panelists will describe the status of current privately-owned parks, discuss a new state-funded affordable modular park, address the FEMA trailer purchase program and detail varied sources of funding assistance to home buyers,“ the release states. Spanish and American Sign Language interpreters will be available during the meeting. A Zoom link to the meeting is available at bit.ly/2YEaGwg , or at oregonlegislature.gov/marsh .
