Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Email Story to a Friend November 13, 2005 Stoutenburgh, Hemphill voted SOC’s top runners State cross country runner-up Isaac Stoutenburgh of Crater was selected the Southern Oregon Conference boy athlete of the year while district champion Natalie Hemphill of Ashland garnered the respective top girl award. The North Medford girls, which finished fourth at state, placed three runners — Brittney Dunn, Jade Severson and Tanika Woofolk — on the first team. North Medford also garnered girls co-coaches of the year honors with Piet and Hans Voskes. Ashland’s Bob Julian was picked as the boys coach of the year.
