Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Email Story to a Friend January 31, 2006 Emergency Services Felony arrests Fugitive — Phillip Ray Moon, 47, of Salem. Central Point police arrested Moon early Monday on suspicion of being a fugitive from Idaho wanted a felony theft charge. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail. Drugs — Janelle Marie Grajeda, 26, of the 400 block of Oakley Street, Central Point. Medford police arrested Grajeda early Monday on charges of possession of methamphetamine and failure to appear in Jackson County Circuit Court. She was lodged in jail, where she remained late Monday in lieu of $8,000 bail. Drugs — Martin Antonio Ramirez, 22, of the 400 block of Arnos Street, Talent. Central Point police arrested Ramirez Monday on charges of possession of methamphetamine and violating parole conditions of a drug conviction. He was lodged in jail without bail. Drugs — Aaron Joshua Hill, 25, of the 400 block of Morton Way, Jacksonville. Medford police arrested Hill Monday on charges of possession of methamphetamine and contempt of court. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Monday in lieu of $10,000 bail. Warrant — Ronald Dean Phillips, 44, of the 100 block of North Second Street, Ashland. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Phillips Monday on a warrant charging him with second-degree assault. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Monday in lieu of $20,000 bail. Drugs — Christina Kay Campbell, 27, of the 7400 block of Highway 140, Eagle Point. Campbell appeared in Circuit Court Monday on an indictment charging her with possession of methamphetamine. She was booked in jail and released. Miscellaneous Jail releases — A total of 97 inmates were released last week from the jail to meet its court-ordered cap of 230 inmates. Of those, 29 were released before their scheduled court appearances, none were granted an early release from a sentence and 68 were released for miscellaneous reasons.
