The meeting will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, at the Medford library, 205 S. Central Ave. Ken Deveney will discuss “Climate Change and Stress,” while local obstetrician-gynecologist Dr. Bryan Sohl will discuss "Changing Health Concerns in a Changing World." Deveney will share 20 ways to help deal with stress brought on by climate change; Sohl will talk about possible impacts of climate change on physical health, including temperature-related death and illness, air quality impacts, extreme events, vector-borne diseases, water-related illness, food safety, nutrition and distribution, and mental health and well-being.
