The Eagles, trailing 4-2 entering the top of the fifth, used a double by Paige Leeper that scored Kylene Briggs and a single by Shae Grady that brought home Leeper to even things at 4. Leeper finished with three hits, a pair of RBIs and a run, Kayli Meerten hit a solo homer and Briggs had two hits and two runs for Eagle Point (9-2, 3-2 MWL). The Eagles couldn't capitalize with a runner on third base in the sixth or runners on first and second with one out in the seventh. Megan Ayres (8-2) allowed six hits and four walks with nine strikeouts. Daniels had three hits for Churchill (9-5, 5-2).
