SOU falls in fifth game Despite a 28-kill effort by sophomore hitter Kristina Matchett, 15th-ranked Albertson (4-2, 2-0) came back from a 2-games-to-1 deficit to topple the Raiders (6-3, 1-2) 24-30, 30-24, 30-21, 30-27, 15-10. The Coyotes won their second straight over SOU thanks to a 32-kill effort by Kristyn Price and a 82-68 dig advantage. Matchett also finished with a career-high 19 digs. SOU returns to action next Thursday for a non-league tilt at Western Oregon. Women's Soccer AZUSA PACIFIC 6, SOUTHERN OREGON 0 - At Azusa, Calif., Azusa Pacific senior All-American Chrissy Sanford scored two goals in the first 15 minutes. Raiders goalkeeper Emily Schifferling was under attack from the opening kickoff, facing 28 shots and making 16 saves. The NAIA second-ranked Cougars (3-1) enjoyed a 4-0 halftime edge. Fullback Jen Sousa and midfielder Cassie Lemburg tallied those two, then an own goal and forward Hannah McClements completed the scoring in the second half.
