Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested James Jan. 28 on charges of failing to register as a sex offender and probation violation. Deputies Sunday added a charge of second-degree assault. James remained in the Jackson County Jail without bail. Drugs — David Allen Whiting, 42, of the 100 block of Sleepy Hollow Loop, Grants Pass. Rogue River police arrested Whiting early Sunday on charges of possessing, delivering and manufacturing methamphetamine in addition to parole violation. He was lodged in jail without bail. Weapons — Stephen John Gaughan, 31, no permanent address. Talent police arrested Gaughan early Sunday on charges of being a convicted felon in possession of a weapon, carrying a concealed gun, probation violations and failure to appear in Medford Municipal Court on a weapons charge. He was lodged in jail without bail. Burglary — Gerald Andrew Frigaard, 24, of the 1900 block of Springbrook Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Frigaard early Sunday on charges of first-degree burglary, private indecency and disorderly conduct. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Sunday in lieu of $27,000 bail. Fugitive — Jaque Dianne Horton, 45, no permanent address. Medford police arrested Horton Sunday on suspicion of being a fugitive from Washington wanted on forgery charges and absconding from parole in California. She was lodged in jail without bail.
