Medford police Saturday arrested Smietana on a charge of second-degree burglary. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Saturday on $5,000 bail. Burglary — Christopher Roger Linhart, 23, of the 400 block of Oak Street, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Linhart on a charge of second-degree burglary. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Saturday on $5,000 bail. Theft, burglary, drugs — Michael Jonathan Barrett, 31, of the 3000 block of Jenern Court, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Barrett on charges of second-degree burglary, first-degree theft, third-degree escape and drug possession. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Saturday on $18,000 bail. Drugs — Kathleen Ann Reeves, 24, no known address. An Oregon State Police trooper Saturday arrested Reeves on charges of possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine and giving false information in a criminal investigation. She was lodged in jail, where she remained late Saturday on $50,000 bail. Assault — Filiberto Sandoval Vargas, 38, of the 1600 block of Prune Street, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Vargas on charges of fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged in jail and released after posting bail.
