Wilson, who defeated Schnugg in the semifinals of last year's SOC district tournament, opted to play doubles with his freshman brother, Jason Wilson. Chad Wilson wasn't 100 percent because of a recent battle with the flu, said Grants Pass coach Marty Zottola. North Medford swept all five singles matches and won two of four in doubles for a 7-2 victory. The Black Tornado ran its SOC record to 3-0. Our singles lineup is looking real strong, North Medford coach Cary Collins said. In all three of our matches, we've made a couple of adjustments in our lineup. The biggest thing we got out of today is this is the lineup we'll probably keep the rest of the year. It gives us our best strength in singles and doubles. North's top three singles players didn't lose a game against the Cavemen. Schnugg has won all three matches in the No. — singles spot this season without dropping a single game. His goal is to go the entire (SOC) season without losing a game, said Collins. Deryk Inn also improved to 3-0 in No. 2 singles. Deryk served huge today, said Collins. I think he had over 20 aces. Aaron Todd was the third North singles player to win both sets in love. Since being moved to singles, Todd has responded with victories in both matches. The No. — doubles match was a battle of brother teams. North's Chris and Jon Endrikat kept their record perfect with a 7-6 and 6-1 victory over the Wilsons. SINGLES - Scott Schnugg, NM, def. ASHLAND 5, SHASTA 4 - At Ashland, Aaron Harris, Anthony Zelaya and Matt Boesche captured the top three singles matches as Ashland evened its season record to 2-2 with the non-conference victory against the Redding, Calif., school at the indoor Ashland Racquet Club. Softball CASCADE CHRISTIAN 11, CRATER JV 6 - At Central Point, freshman catcher Rebekah Gettman sparked Cascade Christian to its first victory of the season. Gettman went 3-for-3, with two RBIs and two runs scored. The Challengers (1-3) broke a 4-4 tie with seven runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. Cascade combined three hits, four walks and an error during the outburst. Gettman capped the rally with a two-run double. Cheryl Gordon picked up her first win in three decisions with a two-hit, six-strikeout, 11-walk performance.
