Ryan was an avid outdoorsman who loved to rock climb, cycle, hike, fish, woodwork, and play guitar and ukelele. He is survived by a large, loving family that grew with every new place that Ryan visited. An open house-style celebration of life is planned from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 13 10005 Grant Creek Rd. in Missoula. Additional celebrations will held in Virginia on Sept. 21 and later this month in Kansas. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Ravalli Search and Rescue, Attn: Trisha Harrison, 205 Bedford Street, Suite G., Hamilton, MT 59840.
