Rand Scott Craig Sunday Oct 9, 2016 at 2:00 AM December 17, 1956 - September 23, 2016 Rand Scott Craig, 59, of Rogue River, Ore. passed away September 23, 2016 at his residence. Rand was born December 17, 1956 in Leadville, Colorado to Wallace O. and Ruby Jean (Williams) Craig. He was the youngest of six. Rand lived in Alaska a great deal of his life, attended College of the Redwoods in Eureka, Calif., moved to Los Angeles for a couple of years, then moved to Oregon where he spent the remainder of his life. He worked at Main Building Supply in the town of Rogue River for 13 years and was very close to his coworkers. Rand enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, and sharing stories. A person could talk to him about anything. We shall miss him greatly. Rand is survived by sisters, Sandra Lee Crombie, of Ore., Marlys Jean Stroebele, of Central Point, Ore., and Janice Dawn Craig, of Hayward, Calif.; brothers, Jeffery Bruce Craig, Seldovia, Alaska, Robin Roy Craig, of Alderpoint, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Rest in peace.
