An Ashland police officer Thursday arrested Smith on charges of assaulting a public safety officer, interfering with a peace officer, disorderly conduct and harassment. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and released Thursday after posting bail. Drugs — Marchand Marie Sandahl, 22, of the 2300 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. Sandahl appeared in Circuit Court Thursday on an indictment charging her with possession of amphetamines. She was booked into jail and released. Drugs — Steven Clay Cunningham, 33, of the 2800 block of Avenue A, White City. An agent of the Jackson County Narcotics Enforcement Team Thursday arrested Cunningham on one count of possession of amphetamines. He was lodged in jail, where he was being held Thursday on $5,000 bail. Crime reports Theft — 400 block of Timberlake Drive, Ashland. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy took a report Thursday of a theft of jewelry valued at $1,000. Theft — 1800 block of Inglewood Drive, Medford. A Medford police officer took a report Thursday of a theft of compact discs and a carrying case valued at $970. Theft — Intersection of Cherry and Prune streets, Medford. A Medford police officer took a report Thursday of a theft of cash, a digital camera, and a leather jacket valued at $875.
