Medford police Monday arrested Carvalho on charges of third-degree rape, two counts of furnishing alcohol to a minor and one count of failing to appear on a misdemeanor driving charge. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $17,000 bail. Drugs — Clifton Duncan Vierra, 28, of the 3900 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Vierra on charges of possession and delivery of methamphetamine. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $15,000 bail. Burglary — Robin Christopher Murphy, 41, of the 7500 block of Torrey Pines Terrace, Eagle Point. Medford police Monday arrested Murphy on one count of first-degree burglary, four counts of first-degree theft and two counts of being a felon in possession of a weapon. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $50,000 bail. Crime reports Theft — 1300 block of Dixie Lane, Medford. Medford police took a report at 11:43 a.m. Monday of a break-in of a vehicle from which a compact disc player, a 600-watt amplifier and other equipment were reportedly stolen. The lost items were valued at $1,400. Theft — 1300 block of Bonita Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 1:33 p.m. Monday of a break-in to a vehicle from which a compact disc player and 50 compact discs were reportedly stolen. The lost items were valued at $1,100. Stolen vehicle — 700 block of Western Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 12:04 p.m. Monday of a theft of a 1997 white Dodge Neon with Oregon license ZCY-242. The vehicle was valued at $3,000.
