Air unhealthy for sensitive groups in Medford Saturday Aug 19, 2017 at 12:49 PM Aug 19, 2017 at 3:10 PM Air quality has moved into the "unhealthy for sensitive groups" range in Ashland, Medford and Shady Cove, according to the latest air-quality readings from the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (www.deq.state.or.us/aqi/) Readings in Medford and Ashland dropped from the moderate level at 2 p.m., according to DEQ air-quality monitors. Grants Pass had moderate air quality, and Klamath Falls was listed as unhealthy Saturday afternoon. The forecast for Saturday and Sunday called for air quality to reach unhealthy levels around Prospect, Crater Lake and Chiloquin, as well.
