A Medford police officer Tuesday arrested Swift on charges of first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree unlawful sexual penetration. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $2 million bail. Theft — Gordon Charles Grissom, 30, of the 900 block of King Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Tuesday arrested Grissom on warrants charging him with three counts of first-degree theft and three counts of negotiating bad checks. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $45,000 bail. Drugs — Corey Dean Malotte, 22, of the 1000 block of West 12th Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Tuesday arrested Malotte on a warrant charging him with possession of amphetamines. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $10,000 bail. Theft — Jason Paul Spence, 28, of the 500 block of Maple Street, Central Point. An Eagle Point police officer Tuesday arrested Spence on a charge of first-degree theft. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $5,000 bail. Assault — Todd Richard Chaves, 35, of the 900 block of Northeast Croxton Avenue, Grants Pass. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Tuesday arrested Chaves on warrants charging him with two counts of second-degree assault, three counts of third-degree assault, reckless driving and driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was lodged in jail and later released after posting bail. Burglary — Timothy Allan Kramer, 41, no known address. A Medford police officer Tuesday arrested Kramer on charges of first-degree burglary, second-degree burglary and a parole violation. He was lodged in jail without bail. Advertisement Crime reports Theft — 3200 block of Taylor Road, Central Point. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Tuesday took a report of a theft in which ladders and windows valued at $9,000 were stolen from a construction site. Burglary — 800 block of Lozier Lane, Medford. A sheriff’s deputy Tuesday took a report of a burglary to a home. Damages were estimated at $600. Vandalism — 7500 block of Highway 238, Jacksonville. A sheriff’s deputy Tuesday took a report of vandalism in which someone used a key to cause an estimated $1,000 damage to a vehicle. Theft — 1800 block of Pinedale Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Tuesday took a report of a theft in which rims and tires valued at $2,000 were stolen from a vehicle. Theft — 1900 block of Grandview Avenue, Medford. A Medford police officer Tuesday took a report of a theft in which rims and tires valued at $1,000 were stolen from a vehicle.
