The fair will feature information on free risk assessments, free mammograms, self-examinations, cancer treatment, support groups, and complementary therapies such as massage, acupuncture, nutrition and aquatics and lymphedema therapy. A free "Passport to Health" drawing will feature prizes donated from local businesses. Last year, more than 400 people visited the extensive booths and displays to collect literature, ask questions, participate in screenings and talk with resource providers and breast cancer survivors. The fair is hosted by Southern Oregon Cancer Awareness Partnership, a local consortium of health care organizations and businesses dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection. Advertisement Sponsors include Soroptimists, American Cancer Society, Jackson County Health Department, Providence Cancer Center and Breast Center, Women’s Imaging Center, Dubs Cancer Center and Spears Cancer Center.
