Singler was waived by the Utah Jazz Thursday, one day after it signed him, the team announced on its Twitter account. Utah signed the 6-foot-6 guard/forward in order to obtain his rights so its D-League affiliate, the Idaho Stampede, could sign him. Singler, whose older brother, Kyle, plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder, played for the Stampede two years ago, averaging 14.1 points and 4.7 rebounds. He won the league’s 3-point shooting contest. Last year, Singler played in Estonia for BC Kalev/Cramo, averaging 6.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 60 games (19 starts). During his collegiate career, he averaged 11.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists for the Ducks.
