Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Email Story to a Friend September 6, 2005 Meth Watch: Suspect wanted on three meth charges EDITOR’S NOTE: Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon, in cooperation with the Mail Tribune and KTVL Channel 10, is participating in "Meth Watch," a program intended to combat the manufacture and sale of methamphetamine in Southern Oregon. Each week, Meth Watch will focus on a person wanted by Jackson or Josephine county law-enforcement agencies for delivery and/or manufacture of methamphetamine. Michael Arthur Bradbury is wanted by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department on two counts of delivering meth and one count of possessing meth. He was indicted on the charges in April last year following an investigation by the Jackson County Narcotics Enforcement Team. Bail on the warrant is $50,000. Bradbury is described as a white man, 25 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has the word "Emily" tattooed on the left side of his chest, the word "Bradbury" in Old English lettering tattooed on his upper right arm, a pierced left ear and an unknown tattoo on his right arm. He also has a four-inch scar on his abdomen. The picture shown in today’s newspaper was taken in August 2003. Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case or any other unsolved criminal activity. Callers can remain anonymous. Advertisement Meth statistics: In conjunction with Meth Watch, the Mail Tribune is compiling weekly statistics to demonstrate the effects of methamphetamine on our community. Arrests — Seven people were arrested last week and lodged in the Jackson County Jail on methamphetamine-related charges. All were arrested for possessing meth, and two faced additional charges of delivering meth. Six arrests were in conjunction with other criminal charges. Court appearances — One person was indicted in Jackson County Circuit Court last week on a charge of possessing methamphetamine and other charges. Child welfare — The local child welfare office of the state’s department of human services removed four children from four homes last week and placed them into protective custody due to meth use in the family. Addiction recovery — Seventeen meth addicts entered outpatient treatment last week at OnTrack Inc. Five meth addicts completed inpatient treatment last week at Addictions Recovery Center (ARC). Four people were admitted last week to ARC's sobering center while under the influence of meth.
