October 19. 2014 2:00AM Carol Erenst Reynolds Carol Erenst Reynolds, 79, passed away October 13, 2014 in the Valley of the Rogue which he loved. He was born in Cave Junction July 3, 1935. He joined the U.S. Navy, then came back and made a life of selling welding supplies in the valley. He never forgot a name or a stop. He always had a warm heart to share. He helped numerous people make their way in life. He taught welding classes and in his later years took up the hobby of antique hit and miss motors to become the Maytag Man of the west. He could repair anything but a broken heart. He was an avid member of Wild Rogue Antique Power Club. He also helped his sons build many karts and race cars. He will be missed by his loved ones very much and he will never be forgotten. He touched the lives of many. Carol is survived by his wife of 38 years, Barbara Reynolds; daughters, Carol Joe, Wanda, Theresa, and Leah; sons, Patrick and Thomas; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren whom he loved very much. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Ernest and Lena; brothers; and son, Michael. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the Eagle Point National Cemetery.
