This year's theme is "Under the Harvest Moon." The festivities will begin with the Talent Chamber's pancake breakfast at 7 a.m. at the Community Center, 206 E. Main St. A 5k and 10k fun run and walk will begin at 8 a.m. at City Hall, 110 E. Main St. The grand parade will begin at 10 a.m. at Talent Elementary School, 307 Wagner Creek Road. The parade will continue down Wagner Creek, turn left at Market Street, and left again on East Main Street to loop back to the school. After the parade, there will be live music, food, wine and beer and craft vendors on East Main street and at the Downtown Park and Library Park nearby. Live entertainment includes Djangoholics, H’aena, LEFT, Mariachi Centella, Thor Polson, Maestro and the Captain’s Flat Five Flim Flam, Olaf Soderback and Morgan O’Shannessy, Rewind, ScienceWorks, Ballet Folklorico and a clown show by Jill & Darrell. For the kids, there'll be a rock climbing wall, dunk tank, pie throwing, face painting, a petting zoo and juggling. A farmers market and craft vendors will be available at the library, 101 Home St. Admission is free. To help the festival be a zero-waste event, participants are asked to bring their own water bottles that can be filled at a Water on Wheels Station at the festival.
