A Medford police officer late Wednesday added a charge of first-degree assault against Schmidt, who was jailed in September on charges of disorderly conduct, fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Thursday on $1 million bail. Drugs — Andrea Eulalia Gomez, 28, no known address. A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Gomez on warrants charging her with possession of amphetamines and failure to appear in court. She was lodged in jail, where she remained late Thursday on $20,000 bail. Forgery — Crystal Noel Moore, 18, of the 200 block of Mistletoe Avenue, Ashland. An Ashland police officer Thursday arrested Moore on a charge of first-degree forgery. She was lodged in jail and later released because of overcrowding. Sodomy — Errick Christopher Woods, 20, of the 800 block of Third Street, Rogue River. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Thursday arrested Woods on two counts of first-degree sodomy. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Thursday on $2 million bail. Theft — Lori Marie Parrish, 33, of the 1200 block of Main Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Parrish on charges of first-degree theft and second-degree theft. She was lodged in jail and later released because of overcrowding. Vehicle theft — Ivan Ortiz, 21, of Stockton, Calif. An Ashland police officer Thursday arrested Ortiz on charges of unlawful use of a vehicle and third-degree theft. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Thursday on $5,000 bail. Advertisement Witness tampering — John Alan King, 31, of the 3800 block of Dover Ridge Road, Medford. King appeared Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on a charge of tampering with a witness. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Gustavo Carlos Vasquez, 30, of the 1800 block of Thomas Road, Medford. Vasquez appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on a charge of possession of amphetamines. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. Crime reports Burglary — 3000 block of Marigold Lane, Phoenix. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Thursday took a report of a burglary in which someone entered a business and stole items valued at $1,400. Vehicle theft — 2000 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday took a report of a theft in which a 1987 Ford pickup valued at $500 was stolen. Theft — 2300 block of Poplar Drive, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday took a report of a theft in which cash and checks totaling $1,500 were stolen.
