Lakeview has three net all-stars The respect Lakeview's volleyball program earned through an outstanding season in the Skyline Conference carried over into the all-conference voting, with the Honkers earning three of the six first-team spots. Seniors Katie Ruda and Erika Coon and sophomore Jamie Ruda were first-team picks after leading Lakeview to the Skyline title with a 14-0 record. The championship run by the Honkers marked the first time in 11 years Henley was unable to either win or tie for the conference title, and the first time in eight years that the Hornets dropped a league match. Joining the Lakeview trio on the first team were senior Mindi Yost of Rogue River, senior Sarah Towns of North Valley and sophomore Breanna Maupin of Henley. Lakeview also swept the top two Skyline Conference honors, with Katie Ruda being named most valuable player and Barry Shullanberger being named coach of the year. Henley finished second to Lakeview with a 12-2 conference record.
