Sheriff’s deputies Sunday arrested King on suspicion of driving under the influence and for driving with a suspended license. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $28,000 bail. Hit and Run — Dylan James Boylan, 18, of the 300 block of West Pine Street, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Dylan on suspicion of reckless driving, hit and run and criminal mischief. He was lodged Sunday on $13,000 bail. Drugs — Mary Helen McWhinney, 49, of the 2600 block of Wyatt Drive, Medford. Medford police Sunday arrested McWhinney of suspicion of possessing cocaine. She is being held on $5,000 bail. Forgery — Paul Jason Brewer, 25, of the 100 block of Black Oak Drive, Shady Cove. Shady Cove Police arrested Brewer on suspicion of forgery and theft. He is being held on $4,000 bail. Contempt — Sandy Karen Mackey, 39, address unknown. Central Point police arrested Mackey on Sunday for contempt for violation of a restraining order. She is being held on $5,000 bail. Crime Reports Vandalism — The back window of a vehicle was broken out in the 7400 block of Wagner Creek Road near Talent on Sunday morning, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department. The value of the window was $700. Pipe bomb — Sheriff’s deputies received a report of a detonated pipe bomb found in the 2300 block of Sunset Court in Medford on Sunday morning. Lost wallet — A lost wallet was found in the 100 block of Peninger Road near Central Point on Sunday morning with money missing, according to sheriff’s reports. No dollar loss was available.
