A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Pickett on charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree forgery, conspiracy to commit first-degree forgery, conspiracy to commit first-degree burglary, identity theft, possession of amphetamines, conspiracy to commit identity theft and third-degree theft. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where she remained late Thursday on $66,000 bail. Burglary, forgery, identity theft — Marie Susan Pacheco, 21, of the 400 block of Dano Drive, Phoenix. A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Pacheco on charges of first- degree burglary, conspiracy to commit first-degree burglary, identity theft, conspiracy to commit identity theft, first-degree forgery, conspiracy to commit first-degree forgery and third-degree theft, and two warrants charging her with failure to appear in court. She was lodged in jail, where she remained late Thursday on $65,000 bail. Theft — Teri Lea Graham, 41, of the 1400 block of Rogue River Highway, Grants Pass. A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Graham on charges of first-degree theft and conspiracy to commit first-degree theft, and an out-of-county warrant charging her with a parole violation. She was lodged in jail, where she remained late Thursday on $10,000 bail. Theft — Katrisa Lee Towers, 34, of the 2100 block of Southwest Bridge Street, Grants Pass. A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Towers on charges of first-degree theft, conspiracy to commit first-degree theft and failure to appear in court, and an out-of-county warrant charging her with a parole violation. She was lodged in jail, where she remained late Thursday on $16,000 bail. Drugs — Tawnya Lee Gairson, 30, of the 200 block of West Gregory Road, Central Point. An Ashland police officer Thursday arrested Gairson on warrants charging her with possession of amphetamines and failure to appear in court. She was lodged in jail and later released because of overcrowding. Drugs — Christopher Ivan Davis, 46, of the 12000 block of Meadows Road, White City. Davis appeared Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with two counts of manufacturing marijuana and two counts of possession of marijuana. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. Advertisement Drugs — Jonathan Raymond Pool, 26, of the 2600 block of Avenue G, White City. A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Pool on charges of possession of amphetamines and a parole violation. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Thursday on $5,000 bail. Drugs — Matthew Bruce Pemberton, 18, of the 400 block of North Ross Lane, Medford. Pemberton appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with possession of amphetamines. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. Robbery — Michael David Cook, 19, of the 700 block of Highland Drive, Medford. Cook appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with second-degree robbery and second-degree theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. Robbery, criminal mischief — Rudy Rae Adevaj, 21, of the 700 block of Highland Drive, Medford. Adevaj appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with second-degree robbery, first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree theft and second-degree trespass. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. Sex abuse — Donald Wade Young, 43, of the 800 block of Gibbon Road, Central Point. Young appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with three counts of first-degree sexual abuse. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. Burglary — Angela Arlene Crum, 41, of the 200 block of Corcoran Lane, Central Point. Crum appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with second-degree burglary and third-degree theft. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance. Drugs — Jeannette Marie Ruiz, 28, of the 1100 block of West Eighth Street, Medford. Ruiz appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with possession of amphetamines. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance. Drugs — Jesse Cameron Brandsen, 20, of the 500 block of Faith Avenue, Ashland. Brandsen appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with two counts of possession of amphetamines. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Moriah Mendenhall-Wingfield, 33, of Junction City. Mendenhall-Wingfield appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with two counts of endangering a minor, manufacturing a controlled substance near a school, delivering a controlled substance near a school, delivering amphetamines, possession of amphetamines and possession of designer drugs. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance. Drugs — Christopher Sean Waites, 20, of the 800 block of Mountain View Drive, Eagle Point. A Gold Hill police officer Thursday arrested Waites on charges of possession of amphetamines, delivering amphetamines and manufacturing amphetamines. He was lodged in jail and later released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Derrick Lee Austin Atterberry, 24, of the 900 block of Dakota Street, Medford. A Gold Hill police officer Thursday arrested Atterberry on charges of possession of amphetamines, delivering amphetamines, manufacturing amphetamines and a parole violation. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Thursday on $25,000 bail. Crime reports Vehicle theft — 1300 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday took a report of a theft in which a 1996 Ford Ranger pickup valued at $2,000 was stolen. Vehicle theft — 1700 block of Howell Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday took a report of a theft in which a 2005 Yamaha all-terrain vehicle valued at $7,200 was stolen. Fire call Mobile home fire — A burning candle ignited a fire Thursday night that damaged a mobile home in the 5300 block of Old Stage Road near Gold Hill. Crews from Jackson County Fire District No. 3 went to the home at about 7:45 p.m. after a passing motorist reported a blaze there, Battalion Chief Rod Edwards said. After seeing flames through the front window, the motorist stopped and broke out the window. He filled a large bucket with water and used it to douse the fire, Edwards said. Firefighters arrived and did the rest. Edwards said most of the home received heavy smoke and heat damage. Thanks to the motorist’s quick thinking, many of the resident’s possessions were salvageable, he said. The woman who lives there told firefighters that she had left a candle burning in the front room, Edwards said. Red Cross workers went to the home and helped get the woman a motel room, he said.
