Firefighters get new extrication tools Jan 15, 2016 12:00 AM A A Rescue personnel from Ashland Fire and Rescue and Jackson County Fire District No. 5 practiced extrication techniques Tuesday using new equipment. The equipment was purchased with an $80,000 Assistance to Firefighters Grant from FEMA. A new combi-tool, firefighters version of a military entrenching tool, will be placed on two of the ambulances.
