Nathan "Nate" Allen Joling Tuesday Apr 24, 2018 at 2:00 AM Apr 25, 2018 at 8:51 AM Nathan "Nate" Allen Joling May 24, 1986 - April 12, 2018 Nathan A. Joling, 31, left us unexpectedly April 12, 2018. He was born May 24, 1986 in Yreka, California to Joe and Nancy Joling. Growing up, Nate was rambunctious and a quick learner of anything that involved sports or physical skill, he was the master. He played many sports: football, baseball, basketball, soccer, and BMX. While in elementary school, he was part of the unicycle club and Boy Scouts. Nate, a Central Point resident, enjoyed visiting and having fun with family and friends. He was always excited for a holiday or event so he could spend time with them. A lot of these events were camping and hanging out at the river. Just being outdoors made him happy. He found his true calling fighting fire, and worked on a local firefighting crew, where he was advancing his career. He just loved his family, friends, pets, music, sports, and was also an avid Seahawks fan. Go Hawks! Nate was loved by so many. His huge heart, infectious laugh, radiant smile and strong, bear-like hugs left a mark on everyone he met. He was an amazing son and brother. This tragic loss has left a void in our lives that can never be filled. Nate is survived by his father and mother, Joe and Nancy Joling; his sister, Tenielle Joling; grandma, Carol Ledford; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Sonny and Caroline Allen; grandpa, Herman H. Joling Jr; and Kane, his beloved dog.  Nate will be missed by all who knew and loved him. We will forever be grateful to God for Nate and the joy and love he brought to each one of our lives. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at TouVelle State Park, Tablerock Road, in Central Point, Oregon. Please bring a dish and memories to share.
