Kinney fires 79, finishes in sixth Tai Kinney of Medford shot a final round of 79 Thursday and finished in sixth place in the 54-hole Oregon Junior Stroke Play Championship at the OGA Members Course in Woodburn. Kinney's three-day total was 235. Her other two rounds were 79 and 77 on the par-72 course. Allison Hanna of Portland won the tournament with a score of 224. Kinney, who finished second in the event last year, was in seventh place when the 18-player select field was reduced to the top nine after the first two rounds. The 16-year-old North Medford High junior-to-be will play in the three-day American Junior Golf Association national tournament, which begins Tuesday at Langdon Farms in Aurora.
