Health insurance enrollment help available Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Nov. 26, 2014 at 1:05 PM Posted Nov. 26, 2014 at 1:05 PM » Social News Oregonians can get help enrolling in health insurance at HealthCare.gov at a free enrollment open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3,  at the Higher Education Center, Room 129B, 101 S. Bartlett St., Medford. The open house will provide in-person help for people enrolling for the first time and for those who want help re-enrolling. They can expect to get help filling out the application and finding out how much they can save on insurance costs, organizers said. They also can talk to an insurance agent about health plan options. In events around the state, insurance agents and certified application assistants will be available to help leading up to Dec. 15, the last day to enroll to have coverage in place on Jan. 1, 2015. People are asked to pre-register for the Medford open house at http://bit.ly/14SUeqA  and bring Social Security or non-citizen ID numbers for every person applying for coverage, along with Income documents, self-employment records or an estimate of yearly income.
