Two arrests in Wolf Creek drug bust Tuesday Feb 21, 2017 at 12:01 AM By Jeff Duewel Grants Pass Daily Courier The Rogue Area Drug Enforcement team arrested two people at a house full of heroin, weapons and cash Thursday at 1000 Lower Wolf Creek Road. According to a press release, a search warrant for the property was served Thursday by the Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team because of suspected stolen property there. During the search, methamphetamine, heroin, scales, packaging materials and items used to ingest the drugs were seized. The heroin was located in a child’s bedroom. More than $27,000 in cash, 15 firearms, stolen property and an explosive device were also located, requiring the Oregon State Police Bomb Squad to assist. Bruce Wayne Coome, 36, and Rashelle Marlene Thompson-Ross, 33, were taken to the Josephine County Jail on charges of drug trafficking and child neglect. They were also booked on charges of possession of a destructive device. They have since been released.
