A Central Point police officer Saturday arrested Herndon on charges of possession of amphetamines, second-degree theft and failure to appear in court. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and later released because of overcrowding. Theft, drugs — Jackie Dale Evans Jr., 26, of the 2600 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday arrested Evans on charges of first-degree theft, possession of amphetamines, second-degree burglary and a parole violation. He was lodged in jail without bail. Drugs — Edwin Austin Herring, 42, of the 3800 block of Avenue A, White City. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Saturday arrested Herring on charges of possession of amphetamines, driving with a suspended license and a parole violation, along with an out-of-county warrant charging him with failure to appear in court. He was lodged in jail without bail. Drugs — Jason Lee Burleigh, 24, of the 800 block of Derby Street, Eagle Point. A Central Point police officer Saturday arrested Burleigh on charges of possession of amphetamines, carrying a concealed knife and driving with a suspended license. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Saturday on $18,000 bail. Drugs — Jameson Brandt Vischer, 18, no known address. A Gold Hill police officer Saturday arrested Vischer on charges of possession of amphetamines, possession of marijuana, manufacturing amphetamines, manufacturing marijuana and two out-of-county warrants charging him with failure to appear in court. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Saturday on $55,000 bail. Drugs — Nikole Devon Blackburn, 22, no known address. A Gold Hill police officer Saturday arrested Blackburn on charges of possession of amphetamines, possession of marijuana, manufacturing amphetamines and manufacturing marijuana. She was lodged in jail, where she remained late Saturday on $65,000 bail. Advertisement Crime reports Burglary — 2600 block of Falcon Street, White City. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Saturday took a report of a burglary in which someone entered a home. Damages were valued at $250. Theft — 7300 block of Highway 62, Eagle Point. A sheriff’s deputy Saturday took a report of a theft in which a generator valued at $3,000 was stolen. Theft — 900 block of Biddle Road, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday took a report of a theft in which a Zenith-brand entertainment center and two laptop computers valued at $3,000 were stolen.
