Eagle Point police Sunday arrested Stockton on a charge of possession of hydrocodone and three warrants for failing to appear on various outstanding drug charges. He was lodged Sunday in the Jackson County Jail and released Monday on his own recognizance. Sex offender — Jacob Ross Smith, 20, of the 800 block of West Jackson Street, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Smith on a charge of failing to register as a sex offender and for violating the conditions of his probation on a previous sodomy conviction. He was lodged Monday in jail without bail. Sex abuse — Timothy Dean Diaz, 22, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Diaz on charges of first-degree and second-degree sexual abuse. He was lodged Monday in jail on more than $1 million bail. Drugs — David Tyler Bryant, 19, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Bryant on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and on a warrant charging him with violating the conditions of his probation on a previous vehicle-theft conviction. He was lodged Monday in jail on $15,000 bail. Hit and run — Jerek Den Oehme, 19, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Oehme on charges of injury hit-and-run driving and reckless driving. He was lodged Monday in jail on $9,000 bail. Crime reports Theft — 1900 block of Alpine Court, Medford. Medford police took a report at 11:18 a.m. Sunday of the theft of a gold ring and a diamond wedding ring. The loss was valued at $4,500. Theft — 1000 block of Brookdale Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 5:54 a.m. Monday of the theft of a computer, binoculars, a wallet and credit cards from a vehicle as well as damage to the front passenger's window of the vehicle. The loss was valued at $2,482. Theft — 300 block of Sunrise Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 10:33 a.m. Monday of the theft of a radar sensor, an iPhone and miscellaneous workout equipment from a vehicle. The loss was valued at $1,715.
