While serving as a pianist at Our Lady of Sorrows church she met a young soldier, the love of her life and future husband, Walter Wasierski. Rose spoke of Saudi Arabia as one of the most exciting adventures of her lifetime. Rose and Walt relocated to Central Point, Ore. in 1981 after Walt's retirement. Rose continued to share her passion for music and love for her faith, serving as a pianist at Shepherd of the Valley Catholic church in Central Point for many years.
