School's out; hoops are in Dec 14, 2009 12:00 AM A A Medford and Central Point kids are out of school for the day, and a Medford organization has planned a hoop clinic to keep them occupied. The Hoop Day event is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Kids Unlimited, 821 N. Riverside Ave. The fee is $25, free to members. It's open to kids in fourth through eighth grades. Longtime basketball coach Manny Crump will lead kids through a fundamental footwork drill, the NBA Fit/WNBA Fit Challenge, a free-throw shootout, a three-on-three tournament and a three-point contest.
