Emergency services, Dec. 31 By Mail Tribune staff Dec 31, 2022 12:00 AM A A Felony arrests Aggravated Theft — Charles Douglas Cochran, 48, of the 12200 block of Highway 62, Eagle Point. Jackson County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Cochran Wednesday on charges of aggravated first-degree theft, possessing a stolen vehicle and violating his probation on a prior conviction for attempt to elude police in a vehicle. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Friday without bail. Witness tampering — Justin Thomas Martell, 41, no known address. Medford police arrested Martell Wednesday on added felony charges of tampering with a witness and contempt of court for violating a no-contact order. Medford police originally arrested Martell Nov. 11 on charges of felony fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence, strangulation and second-degree criminal mischief. He was held in jail Friday without bail. Drugs — Justin Theodore Marshall, 39, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Marshall Wednesday on charges of felony possessing heroin and a warrant charging him with felony possessing less than an ounce of methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released Thursday on his own recognizance. Assault — Santiago Adillio Perez, 34, of the 300 block of Leandra Lane, Eagle Point. Eagle Point police arrested Perez Wednesday on charges of third-degree assault constituting domestic violence and harassment. He was booked in jail Wednesday and no longer an inmate as of Friday. Weapon use — Yesnia Rebecca Solis Jara, 29, of the 500 block of Kenwood Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Jara Thursday on charges of unlawful use of a weapon and first-degree criminal mischief. She was booked in jail and released Thursday on her own recognizance. Elude — Michael D. Jones, 33, of the 100 block of Tracy Avenue, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Jones Thursday on charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, misdemeanor driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. He was held in jail Friday without bail. Impaired driving — Nivardo Sanchez, 37, of the 400 block of Gibbon Road, Central Point. Medford police arrested Sanchez Thursday on charges of felony driving under the influence of intoxicants and misdemeanor driving while suspended or revoked. He was held in jail Friday without bail.
