UPDATE: House, grass fires in Central Point By Ryan Pfeil of the Mail Tribune May 07, 2019 10:07 AM A A UPDATE, 10:14 a.m. : Grass fire at Corey and Foothill roads reported at about 10 a.m. this morning appears to be out. UPDATE, 10:14 a.m.: Crews quickly snuffed a house fireat 1260 Looking Glass Way in Central Point this morning. No one was injured and the fire was contained to the attic of the two-story home,Jackson County Fire District 3 officials say. 9:50 a.m. Firefighting crews are responding to a house fire at 1260 Looking Glass Way in Central Point. The fire was first reported at 9:47 a.m., according to Emergency Communications of Southern Oregon. Central Point police was first on scene. There is also a grass fire reported shortly afterward on Corey Road in Central Point, Jackson County Fire District 3 crews say. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
