Teens charged in Medford robberies Medford police say two 16-year-old boys from Everett, Wash., are suspects in two armed robberies last week in Medford. The teenagers were arrested Friday in Everett, and were lodged in the Snohomish County Jail. Police identified them as Nicholas Adam Chirrick and Eddie Michael Ramirez, who are booked on charges stemming from the two Medford robberies. They also are accused of a Nov. 5 robbery of a Chevron station in Everett. Medford police Sgt. Roy Skinner said detectives Mike Blair, Bill Ford and Terry Newell developed information on the suspects as a result of the Nov. 7 robbery at Dutch Bros. Coffee, 816 S. Riverside Ave., and the Nov. 9 robbery at Minute Market, 843 W. Jackson St. About an hour before the Nov. 7 robbery, a car was reported stolen from World Famous Autos in Medford. Skinner said Blair checked with police in Newport, where a robbery occurred Nov. 10, and in Everett. Skinner said one of the teenagers told Everett police they were responsible for the robberies and the stolen car in Medford. "We obviously know why the kids traveled down here and did what they did," Skinner said. "But we cannot release that information until it is adjudicated through the courts." Skinner said police continue to interview witnesses and gather physical evidence. The teens are also believed to have been involved in several car thefts in Medford.
