Barnstormer’s Vintage Fair draws bargain hunters from near and far By Buffy Pollock Updated: Oct 07, 2022 07:50 PM A A 19 View all photos The annual Barnstormer’s Vintage Fair will kick off at 4 p.m. Friday, luring mothers, wives, daughters — and plenty of dads and husbands with bargain hunting in their veins. Visitors will be able to peruse several buildings at The Expo in Central Point filled with vintage, antique and handmade crafts and wares. This fall’s event — the 10th annual — will boast some 77 vendors spread throughout The Expo’s many buildings, in addition to food trucks and beverage vendors. The locally popular event draws vintage-loving junk-shoppers from around the region offering everything from vintage and antique knickknacks and remakes of vintage clothing to custom jewelry, old toys, blankets, furniture and garden decor. Founded in 2012 by a local family, the McPhails, the event started in a large barn on their property along Coker Butte Road. The event quickly outgrew the barn, has changed ownership and now takes over the space at The Expo twice each year, in spring and fall. This weekend’s fair will run from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
