AHS arts festival is Friday Dec 05, 2014 12:00 AM A A Ashland High School’s Winter Fine Arts Festival will be held Friday, Dec. 12, at the AHS Mountain Avenue Theatre and Commons. The exhibits and silent auction begin at 5:30 p.m. and performances start at 7 p.m. The event is a fundraiser for Ashland High Arts Advocates, a booster club for the arts made up of arts parents, alumni and students. Last year, AHAA awarded $3,500 in classroom grants to the fine and performing arts and provided more than $6,000 in summer enrichment scholarships as well as assistance to students participating in regional and state competitions and honor events.
