TWIGN: "Trump" Carved Into Manatee By Robert Hastings Jan 12, 2021 01:11 PM A A A Florida diver named Hailey Warrington discovered a manatee on Sunday with the word "Trump" etched into it's back. It's not yet clear who did the deed or what instrument was used. Manatees are a protected marine mammal under the Endangered Species Act of 1973. Injuring or harassing one carries a fine up to $100,000 and/or a year in federal prison. Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation is offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the conviction of the responsible party. Anyone with information is encouraged to call (888) 404-3922. Someone carved the word "Trump" onto the back of a manatee.
