What’s the tallest building in the Rogue Valley? — Jon T., Talent Now, Jon, we may be vertically challenged here in the Rogue Valley, but we do have more than a few buildings that would surely bring about your demise if you fell off the roof. Of course, if you were accustomed to looking at 50-story office towers, our skyline does look rather (how can we put this) plain. On the other hand, there are no buildings to block the view of the Table Rocks, Roxy Ann, Mount McLoughlin, Wagner Butte, Johns Peak and all the other topography that defines our valley. Getting back to your query, two buildings at opposite ends of the valley are generally acknowledged as Southern Oregon’s tallest structures. The Grange Co-op’s grain elevator in Central Point and the Ashland Springs Hotel both stand about 120 feet tall.
