Aside from track and field, I really enjoy altering and designing clothes. What's the most important part of putting the shot? Throwing the discus? For me to continue to be successful, I need to keep my throwing routine and relax in competition. Advertisement What other sports or activities do you enjoy? I love to snowboard and lift weights. What is your personal highlights in sports? It was a big accomplishment for me to place fifth in state last year as a sophomore. If you could change something about high school sports, what would it be? I wish that quality camps were more available to kids from all financial backgrounds. What's your favorite school subject and why? English because I enjoy reading and analyzing literature. If you could spend an hour with anyone, past or present, who would it be and why? My great-grandmother so I could learn more about her life when she was young. What do you see yourself doing in 10 years? I would be out of college, living in a big city and having a solid career. Andrea Herman is a junior thrower on the South Medford track and field team.
