A Medford police officer Wednesday arrested Clark on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and first-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Wednesday on $10,000 bail. Assault — Cory Bradley Smith, 18, of the 1300 block of West Stewart Avenue, Medford. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Wednesday arrested Smith on charges of third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, second-degree trespass and second-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Wednesday on $10,000 bail. Drugs — Christina Elizabeth Goodenow, 37, of the 3200 block of Antelope Road, White City. Goodenow appeared Wednesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with possession of amphetamines. She was booked into jail then released on her own recognizance. Assault — Harley David Fredericks, 27, of the first block of Washington Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Wednesday arrested Fredericks on two counts of third-degree assault and two counts of harassment. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Wednesday on $56,000 bail. Failure to report — Edward Dwayne Ballard, 40, no known address. An Oregon State Police trooper Wednesday arrested Ballard on a charge of failure to report as a sex offender. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Wednesday on $15,000 bail. Crime reports Burglary — 6600 block of Pioneer Road, Phoenix. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Wednesday took a report of a burglary in which someone stole $1,100 worth of tools from a home. Advertisement Vehicle theft — 500 block of South Central Avenue, Medford. A Medford police officer Wednesday took a report of a theft in which a 1986 Toyota pickup, Oregon license plate SSS 664, was stolen. Vehicle theft — 800 block of South Oakdale Avenue, Medford. A Medford police officer Wednesday took a report of a theft in which a 1979 Chevrolet pickup, Oregon license plate RWP 864, was stolen. Burglary — 1300 block of Myers Lane, Medford. A Medford police officer Wednesday took a report of a burglary in which someone broke into a business and stole tools.
