October 15. 2014 2:00AM Lorraine A. (Preston) Mussack Lorraine A. (Preston) Mussack, 86, formerly of Medford, Ore. passed away peacefully September 28, 2014 surrounded by members of her loving family. Lorraine was born February 20, 1928 in Worcester, Mass. to Jack and Anita Preston. She graduated Bakersfield High class of 1944. Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late Joe E. Mussack and mother to the late Stephen Mussack. She is survived by nine of her children and their spouses, Nedra Holladay, John Mussack, Susan, wife of Stephen, Timothy Mussack, Therese and John O'Brien, Christopher and Kathryn Mussack, Andrew and Karen Mussack, Colleen and James Bauder, Molly and Ron Beick, Gerald and Jean Mussack, 29 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. In addition to being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother she was active both in her church and community service, with a special interest in assisting school children up through high school. There was a celebration of Lorraine's life Friday October 3, at St. John Eudes Catholic Church, 9901 Mason Ave, Chatsworth, Ca. 91311 There will be a final mass and burial in Oregon Friday, November 7 A 10:30 mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 517 W. 10th Street Medford, Oregon 97504. A 1:00 pm inurnment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery, 2763 Riley Road, Eagle Point, Oregon 97524.
