One last ride Bern Case begins riding off on a horse from his final day at the Medford airport Thursday afternoon. But riding off into the sunset Thursday was Bern Case's way of retiring as director of the Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport after 24 years. During his tenure, the airport built a new terminal and control tower, added hangars for large private jets, saw the arrival of aerospace manufacturing, and more than tripled commercial passenger activity.
